Formed in 1977 by garyray! The Showdown Band has performed all over the state of Arizona and makes it,s home in Phoenix!
The Showdown Band has performed in just about every old honky tonk and lounge accross the Phoenix area and state of AZ over the last 30 years!
The band started out in the country scene in 1977 and over the years has added 50s - 60s Oldies, 70s - 80s Classic Rock, Rockabilly, Southern Rock!
Although mostly known as an oldies Rock band, Showdown can also perform (on request), Traditional Country, Alternative Country and Bluegrass!
With such a large variety of different styles of music, the group will follow the crowd's leed!
The Showdown Band was active from 1977 to 1989 performing all over the state of Az! A break from 1989 to 2008 and garyray reformed The Showdown Band when he parted way's with long time well known local band "The Smokeyrow Band" after a 12 year booking w/ the group!
In 2008 cashed in his 401 k and reformed "THE SHOWDOWN BAND" performing all types of venue's!
The Showdown Band is available for bookings at privite events, bars, lounges, grand openings, restaraunts,and many more events!
